We're thrilled to announce that Tiskilwa will be receiving $850,000 for the replacement of the Arch Street bridge.
This is a project that has been on the back burner for quite some time. Thank you to former Mayors Philhower and Murray for their efforts over the years to help make today a reality.

A total of 223 projects were selected from more than 1,900 applications totaling $5 billion that were received by IDOT from counties, municipalities, townships, transit districts and other local agencies. Selected projects include 177 roads projects, 34 bike and pedestrian improvements, 10 transit projects and two port projects.
The full Fiscal Year 2026-31 Proposed Highway and Multimodal Improvement Program (MYP) will invest a total of $50.6 billion throughout the next six years on the state’s roads, bridges and multi-modal transportation infrastructure such as transit, rail, airports and waterways.
