Tiskilwa Residents - We are happy to announce that construction on four bridges is scheduled to begin this week.

The bridges being replaced are:
State St.
E 1st. St.
W. Main St.
Walnut St.

With the exception of the State Street bridge, all bridges will be closed and alternate routes will need to be taken areound these crossings. A temporary bridge will be built alongside the existing bridge at State Street to allow for uninterupted access to residents, township, and village vehicles during construction.

These bridges are being funded with 1M in grant funds, initiated under former Village President Randy Philhower. We are thrilled to finally be seeing these projects moving forward. Please use caution when navigating near the construction areas in the coming weeks.

Anticipated completion date is Nov. 2025.
