We have received all of the materials needed to replace the media in the four filters at the water plant. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov 3.

Each filter will be drained and the old filter media will be removed. The inside of the filters will be cleaned, all components inspected, and if any corrosion or damage is found inside the tanks that will be repaired.

The new media will then be installed, cleaned, and the filter tested prior to being brought back online. Once the first filter is completed, the remaining filters will go through the same process, one at a time. It is estimated that each filter will take approx 7-10 days to complete.

During this time we may experience some discoloration in the system, but we will do everything in our power to keep things running as smoothly as possible.
